Dozens of local businesses in Cherokee are authorized outlets for fishing permits, but these are not currently available at the casino or hotel. Children under twelve are allowed to fish with a permitted adult.
A one day tribal permit costs $7 for each person 12 years of age and over. Soco Creek, located between Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, is part of the approximately 30 miles of Tribal Enterprise streams and six acres of ponds open to public fishing for a modest fee.
